A mental release

Let's pull out the dictionaries to get the definition of mental workload: "the fact of having to think simultaneously about things belonging to two physically separate worlds". Translation: when you're at work, you're thinking about the house, the shopping list, the little one's vaccinations, the washing machine and so on. To achieve this famous "mental discharge", you're going to have to practice and align everyone's roles in the household. To help you, we've spotted Tiffany Cooper's book Homme Sweet Homme.

Less guilt

Let's take each other by the hand and repeat together: "I have the right to take time for myself, I have the right not to want to play with my child, I have the right to make pasta 4 days in a row and serve lots of Popotes" (which are super good and healthy anyway). We do what we can, and that's good enough! The best reminder of all is undoubtedly this superb Garçon Milano, Mothers Can poster. Stick it on your fridge, or frame it right away!

A weekend without children

Just as we don't work on Labor Day, we'd just as soon go child-free on Mother's Day. On the agenda: spa, massage and a glass of champagne with a bunch of girlfriends for a weekend. Works with a lover too! We love the Enamoura guest house in Marseille.

A weekend with children

Because we have the right to want everything and its opposite, we can also wish to spend time with our favorite people in the world in a dream location like the Es Raco Darta in Majorca or the Moulin des Lambottes.

A healthy dose of love for this wonderful new body

This body, which has been with you since birth, is carrying (or has carried) a baby. It's time to treat it (and yourself!) like a true heroine! Don't you owe yourself a little love? That's why we love Jolibump clothes, because they help us through a new bodily chapter. So add a pair of leggings or a dress to your whishlist to celebrate your goddess body.

A beautiful design object

Once you've worked hard to build the house of your dreams, it's time to get rid of the ugly stuff, even (and especially) with the arrival of a baby. Our suggestion for adding a designer touch to your childcare equipment: the Baby rocker LEVO or the TIBU high chair are sure to please everyone. Who can beat that?

Full nights

After all, we have little control over our children's sleep, so we might as well do what we can, right? And you can create the coziest bed for yourself with sheets by La Cerise sur le Gâteau and a lovely quilt by Le Lucas du Tertre
