Today Mom and Dad explained to me that I was a Big Kid and that I was allowed my very own chair to eat at the table with them. I'm so proud! They showed me my chair, which they call TOBO and think is so beautiful "because-it-harmonizes-perfectly-with-their-interior." I'm not quite sure what that means, but in any case it's very comfortable with the super soft fluffy cushion they put on it.

It's at my grandmother's that I eat in a Charlie Crane TOBO chair. My grandmother is always very chic and loves beautiful things, so she bought this chair for us, her grandchildren, because as she says, "good taste is something you cultivate early." It's certainly prettier than the horrible plastic thing my parents put in our kitchen. Sometimes I even wonder if my mom did it on purpose just to wind my grandmother up!

For my chair, Mom and Dad didn't quite agree. Dad wanted the-big-wooden-chair-that-everyone-has and Mom wanted a TOBO chair from Charlie Crane, because it was "much prettier and just as adaptable." So it was up to me to choose, and I chose the TOBO (honestly mostly because I wanted to make Mom happy). But I don't regret my choice at all. It doesn't look like a baby chair at all, so I could put it in my room later when I have my own desk.
