10 Children's Clothing Brands Designed for Real Life
Discover children's brands (that parents love too) combining style, quality and ethical commitment for a on-trend, comfortable and responsible family summer.
L'enfantin
We absolutely adore this French brand, which had the genius — let's say it — to embroider your child's drawing (or drawings) onto garments of excellent quality. Yes, from the little stick figure with big arms to the tiniest scribble, you can now keep these masterpieces for life rather than tucking them away in a drawer. Better still: you can even display these works of art for all to see and proudly boast about your child's artistic flair. So how could you resist? It also makes an excellent gift for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays…
What we love: the 100% cotton range, the France Origin certification, and the wide choice of products.

Boden
Boden is an iconic brand, founded in the 1990s in England by Johnnie Boden. It is every bit as British as you would expect: colourful, sparkling, original and chic — but its greatest strength is that it is above all durable. Boden is a brand with values, adopted as much for its ethics as for its style. For the very little ones, the summer wardrobe is vibrant: floral rompers, joyful prints, stylish Breton stripes.
What we love: the UV-protective swimwear, so practical for the beach, and the hooded towels to ward off the chill when coming out of the water.

Tinycottons
The world of Tinycottons wins over the whole family, as its founder designed it to "appeal to grandparents for its quality, to parents for its style and to children for its comfort," as quoted in MilK magazine. Founded in Spain by a former Adidas designer, the brand champions the qualities of pima cotton — soft, durable and ultra eco-friendly.
What we love: the colours and patterns, whether poetic, playful or supremely chic. Perfect for the beach as well as a special occasion.

Piupiuchick
This time, it is a Portuguese brand behind Piupiuchick. As its melodic name suggests, the philosophy of this children's label is rooted in creativity, cheerfulness and a sense of humour. Every garment is designed and made in Portugal with a genuine ecological and environmentally friendly approach. Piupiuchick uses organic cotton, every fabric offcut is reused, and the production chain is — truly — on a human scale.
What we love: their summer collection with its vibrant, punchy colours — simple and practical, especially for the very little ones. As the brand is based near the ocean, it boasts a wide range of swimwear and beach outfits so adorable they are hard to resist.

Donsje
We switch styles entirely with Donsje, a premium brand based in Amsterdam. Here, the looks are far more classic — cuts and colours are more understated — but Donsje's twist is more subtle. Indeed, their signature is an utterly adorable little bestiary that adorns their products. There have been crabs, teddy bears, and there will always be charming animals on Donsje's clothing and accessories. The little shoes and baby slippers, for example, are true works of art! Everything here is crafted with care, as the brand is committed to a genuinely fair-trade approach.
What we love: the transparency and durability, and the care taken with every fabric used. Ideal for baby's summer as it is wonderfully breathable!

Cozmo
The world of Cozmo is absolutely perfect for everyday life: colourful, practical, comfortable and fuss-free. The clothing, designed from birth through to adolescence, is conceived near Barcelona in a family atmosphere — and you can feel it. There are timeless classics, pastel tones and cuts perfectly suited to every age.
What we love: their commitment, the timeless and reusable quality passed down from generation to generation — just like the company itself.

Organic Zoo
The dreamy wardrobe created by Paulina of Organic Zoo inspired us to collaborate — so it is only natural that this British brand features on this list. We never tire of this range of organic cotton clothing with its endlessly romantic prints.
What we love: in particular the print we chose for our limited collection, simply titled "Olive Garden".

Very French Gangster
Summer means sunshine — and sunglasses! And goodness knows how important they are, whether you are a tiny baby or a little older. Their eyes, so fragile, are greatly in need of suitable eyewear. Fortunately, Very French Gangster has a lovely collection for children and teenagers. Of course, VFG is also a committed, responsible brand and offers a range that is 100% made in France.
What we love: the choice of frame colours, but also shapes and shades… Little ones can look just like the grown-ups!

Studio Noos
The essential beach bag — or rather the ultimate all-purpose bag… The Studio Noos range offers a wide choice of belt bags, graaaand pram bags and ultra-practical pouches that are absolutely essential when travelling as a family. We particularly love the Mom Bags, because for once they are elegant while remaining practical, lightweight, and capable of holding as much as Mary Poppins' bag. The Mom Bag clips onto a pram but can also be worn over the shoulder or as a crossbody. Bonus: they are also customisable.
What we love in particular is the wonderfully soft winter range, but for summer, there are plenty of choices on offer.

TajineBanane
Last but not least, TajineBanane is a brand that has made its mark in the world of parenthood thanks to its ultra-stylish collections for breastfeeding (and non-breastfeeding) mothers! Created by Alison Cavaillé in 2019, we are proud to have also collaborated with this French brand, which shares the same values as Charlie Crane: durability, poetry, aesthetics. Together, we designed a leopard print in the spirit of TajineBanane's wonderfully fun collections.
What we love: the commitment, the inclusivity, and the caring community that Alison has built over recent years.
