KUMI cradle

After the warmth of the mother's womb, the cradle is the place where the baby will spend most of his time during the first months of his life; the place where, gradually, he will awaken to the world. Charlie Crane has therefore designed the KUMI cradle as both a reassuring cocoon and a space open to the outside world. With its minimalist, contemporary lines, the KUMI cradle rocks sideways to help babies gently fall asleep.

A reassuring cocoon and a space open to the outside world

  • Used from birth until the child can sit up, stand up or crawl on all fours on his own
  • Detachable, machine-washable fabric
  • Millennia-old lateral rocking to help babies fall asleep
  • Building a baby's nest with rope lacing
