Sleeping close to your baby is an age-old practice that allows the whole family to have a more peaceful sleep. Sharing their room with their toddler reassures parents and makes waking up at night less difficult, especially for taking a bottle.   • Clean the product with a damp sponge and then wipe with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
  • Never use solvents, thinners, alcohols, abrasives, etc.

Bench cushions

  • Surface cleaning only: Gently clean with a damp sponge and mild detergent, then allow to air dry before use.

Focus on Safety

The benefits of co-sleeping... safely

Dormir à côté de son bébé est vivement recommandé. C’est bon pour le bébé car cela répond à son besoin d’attachement dans les premières semaines et cela apaise et facilite son sommeil. Du côté des parents, cela offre aussi beaucoup d’avantages, notamment celui de répondre facilement aux besoins du bébé, de faciliter l’allaitement et la prise de biberon, et d’éviter de trop se fatiguer.

Toutefois dormir avec son bébé peut présenter deux risques importants, souvent sous-estimés par les parents : celui d’écraser le bébé pendant son sommeil et celui de chute et/ou de coincement du bébé entre le lit cododo et le lit des parents. Pour éviter les accidents, tous les cododos doivent être équipés d’une barrière de sécurité du côté du lit des parents d’une hauteur d’au moins 15 cm. Notre KODO répond bien sûr à cette norme. Si vous trouvez en vente des cododos qui n’en sont pas équipés (ce qui est malheureusement le cas), sachez que ceux-ci ne répondent pas aux normes de sécurité européennes et devraient être retirés du marché.
