The historic city center

Start the day with a stroll through the city center of Bordeaux. You'll discover a multitude of small squares perfect for wandering. It's also a great opportunity to appreciate its cobblestone streets and stone facades. Place de la Bourse, Place Pey Berland, Place Saint Pierre or Place Fernand Lafargue… Take your time to wander through its small streets and discover independent restaurants and boutiques.

Le Parc Bordelais

A favorite from the first sunny days, the Parc Bordelais is one of the largest green, tree-lined spaces near the city center. Perfect for a picnic, a birthday, an afternoon snack or simply a stroll, it offers relaxation areas, play spaces, carousels, a farm with animals and a refreshment stand. The refreshment stand is a hit with children, as it serves cold drinks, ice creams, crêpes and waffles! In summer, however, you'll need to be patient — it gets very busy.
