When our team designed the KUKO, they had in mind the first months of a newborn. A period of adaptation and uncertainty for most families. The bassinet is a transitional item from birth until around 6 months. It is baby's very first bed. Thanks to its small size, the bassinet is a cozy nest for your little one. Much like their parents' arms, its soft organic foam and cotton sides wrap around them gently. 

A portable bed

The great advantage of a bassinet is its mobility. It follows the whole family wherever they go. Within the home, the bassinet moves from the parents' bedroom to the living room. When travelling, it is even more practical than a travel cot. It slips into a hotel room, a rental, or the homes of friends and family. Plus, your baby already knows this cozy nest — it smells like home. Another bonus… you avoid the ordeal of assembling a foldable baby bed (you know what we mean!).

A reassuring bed

If baby feels safe in their bassinet, parents also appreciate having Junior close by. When breastfeeding and for night feeds, baby is within arm's reach. And we haven't told you everything yet… our KUKO bassinet can rock your child. With its sturdy, secure wooden stand, it transforms into a cradle. The rocking motion reminds babies of the movement they felt in their mother's womb. This stand is lightweight, dismountable and easy to transport.

A washable bassinet

Babies who spit up, little diaper accidents — sound familiar? No problem for KUKO. Its removable fabric goes in the washing machine. A quick 30° cycle and it'll be as good as new.
